vertical NC-machining

• we run 5 special machines, two of them with double-spindle, which gives a total of 7 spindles, of the famous brands Hessapp, Diedesheim and Pittler.
• The chuck diameters are between 500 und 800 mm, maximum turning diameter runs up to 1000 mm.
• vertical turning offers the advantage of being able to load large and heavy parts vertically from the gantry crane fast and directly, similar to a boring mill with a horizontal table. Furthermore, for asymmetric parts we can reach higher turning speeds in the vertical axis, because the asymmetry is not reinforced by gravity.
• We run on a permanent 3-shift basis and we turn 30 to 45 kg heavy castings, that are used by truck manufacturers MAN and Volvo in the truck chassis and power train.
