Chrome & Nickel & Zink on Castings and Steel

We manufacture machined castings with galvanic coatings, for use in demanding machines:

with galvanic or chemical plating in chrome, nickel or zinc

typical castings are out of ductile iron or grey iron

of course we also galvanize machined parts out of different kinds of steel

even heavy (500 kg) and large parts (6 m) are possible

galvanic plating can be on the entire surface

or just partially, in order to keep tolerated surfaces free

after galvanic plating we can continue with machining

e.g. grinding the plated areas to tolerance

typically the thickness of plating is between 20 and 50 mikrons

With the galvanizing we achieve the following effects:

protection against corrosion, caused by humid air or by human contact

increased hardness up to 60 HRC and prevention of dents

high optical quality for visual parts
