Machine-beds

We are specialised in the production of machine-beds for machine-tools:

Since the final position of machine-beds in the machine-tool is horizontal, it is preferable to machine the beds also in horizontal position, which is possible on our large gantry mills.

• we manufacture classical machine-beds, machine-uprights and gantries, as well as further "small parts" according to drawings
• we manufacture machined castings and welded structures in-house. It is also possible to send us raw castings for machining.
• Our customers in this area are the large, classical machine-tool-companies in the Czech Republic, who are globally active:
  • TRIMILL (ex ZPS and DEPO): NC-Gantry- and NC-Boring-Mills and others
  • TOS-VARNSDORF: large NC-Boring mills and others
  • STROJTOS: Vertical-NC-Mills
  • TOS-HULIN: Carousel-NC-Mills and others

• The parts usually vary between 10 and 40 tons, in some cases also up to 50 or 60 tons. The length varies typically between 6 and 12 meters: larger machines are usually assembled from modules. The wirdth is typically between 2 and 2,50 meters, but also wider machine-beds with 3,50 m width are possible, see the top picture above.
• The parts usually have linear guide-rails with shoulders, and the precision is of the order of a few 0,01 mm on the overall lenght
• Before or after machining we can carry out further steps:
  • Filling with special concrete
  • Machining of large NC-contours, e.g. grooves
  • Grinding of the guide-rails
  • Final painting
  • Pre-assembly
